Our skilled team provides around-the-clock medical management and monitoring services to expertly and compassionately guide a patient through the complex process of withdrawal from drugs and/or alcohol. These services are offered 24/7 on site at the Tuerk House Main Campus.
Inpatient withdrawal management treatment, often referred to as "detox," is for individuals who need 24/7 medical monitoring while they safely withdraw from alcohol or drugs. It provides around-the-clock nursing supervision and support in a secure, structured environment. This type of care is typically for those who are physically dependent on a substance but do not have severe medical complications that require care to be delivered within a hospital.
At Tuerk House, each patient’s detox plan is carefully individualized to safeguard their sobriety and make the experience as comforting as possible, and can include:
Inpatient Medically Monitored Intensive Inpatient Management is delivered to individuals who have severe medical or psychiatric conditions alongside their substance use disorder. In addition to 24-hour medical and nursing care, a highly skilled Tuerk House physician is available at all times to manage a patient’s acute withdrawal symptoms and co-occurring health issues that could make the withdrawal process more complex.
Inpatient high-intensity residential treatment at Tuerk House differs slightly from our withdrawal or medically managed treatment. It provides a controlled, 24-hour living environment that focuses primarily on essential therapy and recovery skills for the patient. Additional medical support can be offered to the patient, but the main priority is completing the initial withdrawal process and moving into a safe setting that is created to support the patient’s long-term recovery.
